Short answers to common file questions
Questions
Is my presentation uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser opens the presentation directly on your device. The site only loads its own scripts, styles and fonts; the contents, name and bytes of your file are never sent to a server.
Why only the first slide?
Keynote stores the slides themselves in a closed format that only Apple’s apps read. Every .key file also carries a picture of its first slide, and that is what OsonKit shows. To see every slide, export the presentation from Keynote: File → Export To → PowerPoint or PDF.
Can I open Pages or Numbers files?
No. OsonKit recognises them and tells you so; export them from Pages or Numbers as Word, Excel or PDF.
How large can the file be?
Up to 50 MB.
