Is my RTF file uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser opens the document directly on your device. The site only loads its own scripts, styles and fonts; the contents, name and bytes of your file are never sent to a server.
What formatting is shown?
Bold, italic, underlined and struck-through text, fonts, sizes and colours, alignment, indents and spacing, page size and margins, tables, PNG and JPEG pictures and web links. Other picture types are shown as a labelled placeholder.
What is not shown?
Headers and footers, footnotes, comments, hidden text and embedded objects (only their saved picture, if there is one).
How large can the file be?
Up to 50 MB. Files from WordPad, TextEdit, Word and LibreOffice open the same way.
