Short answers to common file questions
Questions
Is my presentation uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser opens the presentation directly on your device. The site only loads its own scripts, styles and fonts; the contents, name and bytes of your file are never sent to a server.
Will the slides look exactly like in LibreOffice?
Close, but not always identical. Backgrounds, shapes, gradients, text, lists, tables and pictures are drawn by your browser, so fonts and fine details may differ. Animations and transitions are not played; charts and other embedded objects are shown by their saved picture or a placeholder.
Are pictures from the internet loaded?
No. Only pictures stored inside the file are shown; a link to an outside picture becomes a labelled placeholder and is never fetched.
How large can the presentation be?
Up to 50 MB and 1,000 slides.
