Questions
Is my presentation uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser opens the presentation directly on your device. The site only loads its own scripts, styles and fonts; the contents, name and bytes of your file are never sent to a server.
Will the slides look exactly like in PowerPoint?
Close, but not always identical. Backgrounds, shapes, text, pictures, tables, charts and SmartArt are drawn by your browser, so fonts and fine details may differ. Animations, transitions and videos are not played.
Can I open old .ppt files or LibreOffice presentations?
Yes. LibreOffice Impress (.odp) slides are shown in full. Old .ppt files (PowerPoint 97–2003) open as a text-only preview: titles, slide text and notes without pictures or layout. For the full slides, save the file as .pptx.
Are macros run?
No. Macro-enabled files (.pptm) open like any other presentation, but their macros never run, and pictures linked from the internet are not loaded.
How large can the presentation be?
Up to 50 MB and 1,000 slides. Slides are drawn when you scroll to them, so long decks stay responsive.
